Defining Personal Values, Vision and Mission

Each veterinary team member is a valuable asset bringing a kaleidoscope of experiences and expertise to the table. Understanding your personal values, vision and mission allows you to better recognize how you fit into the larger picture. By creating your personal statements, you have guiding principles that support you in decision making and in reaching your greatest potential. Participants will receive a worksheet to write their own values, vision and mission statement to keep them on their path in personal and professional development.

Rebecca Rose, CVT

Rebecca Rose, CVT graduated from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, CO USA in 1987 with a degree in veterinary technology. She is currently the president and founder of CATALYST Veterinary Practice Consultants, LLC. Rebecca's career in the veterinary community is quite diverse. She has worked as a veterinary technician at a mixed animal practice, offered veterinary technician relief services throughout the state of Colorado, and was the first paid administrator to the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians (CACVT). Over the years, she managed two AAHA accredited veterinary practices. Rebecca has co-authored books related to career choices for veterinary technicians. Her writings can be found in a number of training books and veterinary related magazines. She facilitates classes at local, state, national and international conventions. She hosts in-hospital workshops with her CATALYST Team geared towards team development, team retention and living well. She coordinates veterinary hospital consultations, assisting veterinary managers in designing customized projects fitting the needs of management and the veterinary team. In the past she has sat on industry councils, was the President of the CACVT and received two awards from the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA); Technician of the Year & Industry Partner of the Year. Rebecca presided as President of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) from 2015-2017. You will see Rebecca finds great joy in assisting veterinary teams in reaching their highest potential and THRIVE!
