Nominate Someone for a PVMA Award!
Know someone who is making a difference in veterinary medicine or an unsung hero
devoting time to charity? Nominate them for a PVMA award! Media awards include
newspaper, magazines, broadcast and internet categories, the Wodan Animal Hero
Award celebrates heroic actions by Pennsylvania animals, and there are six PVMA
member awards including Veterinarian of the Year and Distinguished Veterinary
Service.
Nominations are due by MAY 31, 2012, to Lori Raver

2012 PVMA Poster and Digital Photography Contests
 Calling all Pennsylvania
schoolchildren in kindergarten through 12th grade! PVMA's annual poster and
digital photography contests are now open for 2012.
Participation is fun & easy - draw a poster around the theme "Imagine the
Pawsibilities: Pets, People and Veterinarians" or take a digital photograph
based on the theme of "A Photo Shot of Love."
Grade level winners from each grade will win a $50 cash prize and an engraved
plaque and be invited to receive their award in Hershey in August 2012. Digital
photography entries will also be viewable online at PVMA's website in an online
gallery throughout the contest.
