Introduction to Complementary and Alternative Veterinary Medicine (CAVM)

This webinar, the first in a series of 8 2-hour modules in holistic veterinary
medicine, is geared toward the practitioner who is increasingly faced with
cients learning about CAVM modalities from the internet and other sources. Each
segment is presented by a differnt veterinarian with advanced training and
experience in the specific modality. Each module will cover an introduction of
the modality (mechanism of action, clinical trials, etc.), and where applicable
an example of the therapy that could immediately be used by clinicians. This
first webinar is an introduction to CAVM and is highly recommended for
practitioners wishing to take any or all of the other modules in the series.

be detailed such that another veterinarian unfamiliar with the care, could pick

wants the medical records of a patient that used to be owned by someone else
when it was under your care? Does the record follow the patient or the client?
What is the legal response? What is the ethical response? This presentation will
review the importance of medical record keeping and how.
